Cigar Themed 35th Birthday Cake

We created this cake for a 35th birthday celebration for a man who loves cigars. The cake desgin was done in cream, brown and gold with a diamond pattern and topped with a 3D cigar ashtray. Our customer felt her husband would rather real cigars than fondant modeled ones so she added them later. The ashtray is fondant covered rice krispie treats with a hand painted gold detail. We love creating cakes for this family and they are huge fans of our double chocolate cake with strawberry mousse filling.
