We created this cupcake tower for a sweet Kallie who loveds pets! Cupcakes were topped with paw prints and minis were topped with pearls. The tower was topped with a jumbo cupcake for the birthday girl.
We created this green, yellow and brown cupcake tower for a bug themed birthday party. The topper cake was iced green, bordered with piped buttercream grass, covered with branches and leaves and topped with insects and other critters. Half the cupcakes were topped with a 6 and hald the cupcakes were topped with more critters - scorpians, spiders, worms, ladybugs, dragon flies, butterflies, moths, insections and inch worms. Our customer rented our 4 tier cupcake tower to display the cake and cupcakes.
We recently donated a custom cupcake gift certifcate to the Laguna Elementary School's PTA for the fundraising auction. The winner of the gift certificate ordered cupcakes for her son to celebrate a great year. We used the cupcakes to spell out his name and topped with remaining cupcakes with music notes and an electric guitar.
Last year we gave away a gift certificate for custom cupcakes over on Scottsdale Moms Blog and the winner used the gift certificate to order cupcakes for her son's 8th grade commencement celebration this week. He's a future Sandra Day O'Conner High School student so we did everything in the school colors, blue and yellow. Cupcakes were topped with "congratulations", A+, stars, 2015, SDOHS, golf ball, music notes, drum and math symbols - all things to represent his academic successes, interests and future high school days.

We created this cupcake tower for Camelback Desert Schools PTO All in For Kids fundraising event. The event's theme was casino night so we baked the cupcakes in red and black foil cupcake liners and topped the cupcakes with hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. We also made a few mini cupcakes topped with red and black pearls. The cupcakes are displayed on our white 5 tier cupcake tower. The event was held at the Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale
This cake was ordered for a ASU graduation party - the graduate's favorite color is purple so the cake was decorated with purple and topped with a graduation hat in ASU colors. The family also ordered cupcakes for each of the children.
We created this blue and red cupcake tower for a University of Arizona graduation party. The cupcakes were baked in red and blue cupcake liners and topped with an A and 2011. The topper cake is decorated with blue and red stripes and topped with a 3D graduation hat (made from white chocolate). Our customer rented our 4 tier white cupcake tower for her party. Cupcake towers are great for graduation parties which are often open house style and guests can help themselves and your display isn't ruined because the cake is cut. Often our customers save the cake for after after the guests have left to enjoy as a small family celebration.
We created 75 chocolate dipped fortune cookie favors for a University of Arizona graduation party. They were serving an asian themed meal so fortune cookies were the perfect favor - decorated in red and blue of U of A.
We created these cupcakes for a nursing school graduation party. The school's colors are purple and silver. We topped the cupcakes with graduation hats and displomas along with many medical related items including scrubs, blood pressure cuff, medicine, bandaid and nurse's hat
These blue and green monkey cupcake created for a 2nd birthday celebration held at Imagination Avenue. Our customer was the winner of a Simply Sweets custom cupcake gift certificate that we donated to the recent Humane Society's charity event Compassion with Fashion: Wizard of Paws.
We made a few cupcakes that were displayed during the charity event - two paw print cupcakes and two yellow brick road cupcakes topped with ruby slippers to go along with the Wizard of Paws theme.
These surboard cupcakes were ordered for a luau themed birthday party. Very popular theme this time of year for pool parties and we'll doing a lot more of these for end of the school year parties! Green surfboards with yellow, orange and pink flowers.
We created this cake for Tennessee's 3rd birthday party. Cake is iced gray and airbrushed a dark silver for a cool effect. We added silver stars, 2 light sabers and the message done in a Star Wars font. This cake was a very large 12 inch square which serves at least 55 people.

We made 4 dozen mini cupcakes for a brown and pink themed bridal shower. The cupcakes were baked in pink and white polka dot mini cupcake liners. Half the cupcakes were topped with pink and brown flowers and half were topped with pearls.
This cake was created for a small family wedding annversary celebration. The cake was iced in lavendar buttercream and covered in branches with delicate white and light purple flowers with pearl centers. The message says "Happy Birthday Grandma and Grandpa" This cake was inspired by or 40th anniversary cherry blossom cake:
This baby shower cake was designed to coordinate with the pink and white butterfly baby shower invitation. The cake is iced with light pink buttercream and covered in cascading pink and white butterflies. The cake is topped with a pair of our sugar baby booties and we wrote the Welcome Baby message in a Curlz font. So sweet!

Our customer ordered these to be served at the reception following her dissertation defense. She had ordered the orange and red daisy cupcakes for her daughter's birthday earlier in the year and loved the design so much that she reordered it adding in the butterflies. We delivered these cupcakes to Arizona State University.

We created this countryside scene cake with bumble bees and topped with a honey put for a 3rd birthday Winnie the Pooh celebration. The 3D honey pot is made with rice krispiy treats covered in fondant.

These pink and yellow Mother's Day cupcakes were ordered to coordinate with TomKat Studio's Mother's Day printable gift tags. Each cupcake is topped with a flower with a pearl center and a pink sparkly butterfly.
Did you see those cupcakes the Project Nursery Mother's Day printables post by Kim, TomKat Studio? Those are Simply Sweets cupcakes topped with TomKat Studio party circles - we worked together last year to create a display for Phoenix' Bloggy Bootcamp.
We've made a lot of cakes for this family so our customer thought this would be a perfect Mother's Day surprise to order his wife a cake topped with her favorite flower, calla lilies. She loves our white almond sour cream cake with lemon cream filling. The side of the cake is covered in a buttercream piped cornelli lace pattern.
This was a really fun cake to do. One of our customers asked ask to create a gender reveal cake for Mother's Day. She was finding out the sex of their 3rd baby on Friday and decided it would be a fun Mother's Day surprise for the family to order a cake. She brought the ultrasound results to us so that we could color the cake pink or blue. We created a similar cake for a gender reveal party a few months ago but this one was even more exciting because even the mom didn't know the sex yet. The cake is a 6 inch round with 3 layers of white cake - we tinted the batter of the middle layer.
So was it pink or blue????
