Friends of St. Jude Sugar Ball

At the end of last month, the Phoenix chapter of Friends of St. Jude hosted a Sugar Ball fundraising event with all proceeds going towards St. Jude. The invited a wide variety of vendors from the Valley who specialize in sweets! The event was held at the Hotel San Carlos in downtown Phoenix.

Snapbooth.com provided a photo booth and baskets full of accessories for some fun photos!

Here's a close-up shot of the SWEET banner that we created for the event - custom party banners is a new service we will be offer after our grand re-opening!

We were asked to bring a sampling of our chocolate dipped sweets - we dipped rice krispie treats, oreos, pretzels and marshmallows in chocolate with pink sprinkles to coordinate with the events pink and brown colors!

Urban Kidz, Scottsdale Celebrates Their Birthday

Sorry its been so long since we've blogged - besides getting out new Scottsdale location ready we've been out at a lot of events spreading the word about Simply Sweets as we get closer to our grand re-opening.

Urban Kidz recently celebrated their birthday and held a huge celebration which included a great sale, give aways, gift with purchase and a birthday celebration that included cupcakes (which we provided, of course). Have you been to Urban Kidz at The Shops at Gainey Ranch? They have an amazing selection of kids clothes from infant all the way up to size 14/16 including great boys clothers (as a mom of a boy I love any store that stocks just as much boy clothes as girl clothes).
