Game controller birthday cake for a video game party

We created this 3D video game controller cake for a video game themed birthday party celebration. For party entertainment our customer hired Games on Wheelz where they bring a mobile gaming truck with XBOX and Wii game systems to your home. The game controller is made of rice krispie treats covered in fondant placed on top of a 9 inch cake. Our customer also ordered cupcakes which were topped with green and black toppers to spell out the birthday boys name.

Pink, purple and blue 2 tier birthday cake for a horse themed birthday party

We created this cake for a girl turning 6 who loves horses! She even had a little horse figurine with her when they picked up the cake. For the party they were using My Little Pony decorations and even had horse rides for the kids.

Turquoise and Brown Polka Dot Sweet 16 Birthday Cake

Love this color combination! Turquoise, brown and white. We covered this cake with polka dots, used a very girl font for the birthday girl's name, and added a multicolored ball border, daisies and pearls for a sassy sweet 16 cake.

Western themed 30th Birthday Cake

This cake was ordered for a 30th birthday celebration held at the Saddle Ranch Chop House in Scottsdale. The cake was for 3 people celebrating their 30th birthday who were in town for family wedding. The cake was done in a western theme to coordinate with the Saddle Rancch Chop House where they had the top floor reserved for their celebration. The bottom tier was done as a western desert scene with lots of cacti, top tier in a bandana pattern toped with a sheriff star.

Green Shamrock Birthday Cake for an Irish Dancer

We created this cake fro Maia's 11th birthday birthday. Having at March birthday and a love for Irish Dancing she loves everything green and Irish. We covered the cake in green shamrocks and created a pari of Irish dancing shoes from fondant on top of the cake.

Blue, Green and Brown Baby Shower Cupcake Tower

Our popular baby booties baby shower cake design done with polka dots and coordinating cupcakes in sassy circles for a cupcake tower display. Our customer rented our 3 tier cupcakes stand which works great with 16-24 cupcakes. Cake is iced with green tinted buttercream and accented with blue and brown fondant polka dots - most of Simply Sweets' cakes are iced with buttercream which is so popular with our customers who don't want a lot of fondant on their cakes. Baby booties are made from fondant and edible but is often kept as a keepsake.

50 cupcakes for a surprise 50th birthday celebration

We created 50 mini cupcakes and a balloon bouquet of 13 balloons for a 50th birthday celebration. Our customer wanted to surprise a friend at her workplace and selected mini cupcakes because it was a small celebration but wanted 50 to represent her friend's birthday. 13 balloons were selected because her birthday was on the 13th. We did everything in purple and turquoise.
