Pink and Red 3rd Birthday Cupcake Cake

This cupcake cake was created for a February birthday so everything was done in pink and reds with hearts. The heart is a cupcake cake and to get the heart shaped we baked the cupcakes in a heart shaped pan.

We also created Ava's 2nd birthday cake last year:

Colorful 6th Birthday Cupcake Tower - blue, orange, red and pink!

This cupcake tower was ordered for two friends celebrating their 6th birthday at Pump it Up in North Scottsdale. The birthday girl and boy each got their own jumbo cupcake. Regular cupcakes for the kids and mini cupcakes for the parents. Half the cupcakes were blue and orange and half were red and pink.

Our customer set up the display herself so we don't have a photo of the tower display - she rented our 4 tier white cupcake tower stand. The stands create such a great display and make serving so easy.

We also created Ryan's 5th birthday cake last year - a blue 3D car cake

Simply Sweets featured in the spring issue of Arizona Bride magazine - wedding cupcakes!

Cupcakes for weddings are so popular right now. In the current issue of Arizona Bride magazine, Spring 2009, 4 of cupcakes are featured in their wedding cupcake article. Our cupcakes are numbered 5, 7, 10 and 12.

We had a selection of gorgeous painted metal stands available for rent for wedding cupcake towers. Our 4 tier stands holds 30-60 cupcakes. Our 5 tier stands hold 75-100 cupcakes and can be expanded to a 9 tier stand to hold up to 200 cupcakes. The larger stands are available in white or silver. We also have several small stand that hold 18-24 cupcakes.

• Cupcake Gift Box - Cupcakes topped with flowers, sassy circles or stars in your choice of colors. White sour cream, double chocolate sour cream, or lemon poppyseed with American buttercream. • Mini Cupcake Gift Box - 2 dozen mini cupcakes. Choice of spelling out "thank you" or the person's name with remaining cupcakes topped with flowers or sassy circles. Your choice of colors. White sour cream, double chocolate sour cream, or lemon poppyseed with American buttercream. Box is tied with a ribbon and includes a gift tag. $43
• Chocolate Dipped Oreo Daisy Bouquet - Chocolate dipped oreos on a stick topped with a daisy chocolate. Each is individually wrapped and tied with a green bow and arranged in a tin. $18 bouquet of 5 oreos, $24 bouquet of 7 oreos. *larger sizes are available.
• Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Bouquet - 7 chocolate dipped marshmallows decorated in your choice of colors. Bouquet is wrapped with cellophane and tied with a bow. $13
• Chocolate Dipped Pretzels - White, milk or dark chocolate dipped pretzels covered in colorful sprinkles. Wrapped in a cellophane bag and tied with a bow. $14/bag of 12.

Delivery is available and starts at $10 - fee is based on address. Pickup is available Monday - Friday 9 am - 4 pm (sometimes additional pickup hours may be arranged).

Purple, Lime Green and Turquoise Cupcakes for a Teenager's Brithday

This is a fun color combination - purple, lime green and turquoise! These were ordered by the winner of the Stetson Valley PTSA Quarter auction Simply Sweets gift certificate - she ordered them for her teenage daughter's birthday celebration.

Green and Blue Birthday Cupcakes

These were ordered by a vendor working with department where someone was celebrating a birthday so she wanted to surprise the group with cupcakes! She ordered 50 cupcakes and the colors were selected to coordinate with the business' logo - we delivered these treats to Tempe.

Pastel flowers and butterflies for a first birthday celebration

This 2 tier cake, cupcake cake and smash cake were ordered for a large first birthday celebration - we delivered all these goodies to Desert Ridge. The cake was done in pinks, purple, yellow and green with a bright turquoise blue background - we added lots of flowers, butterflies and bows to make it extra sweet.

Our customer was so happy with our cake, especially the taste that she has already ordered a second cake from us for a baby shower that she hosted - same flavor combinations, of course: double chocolate sourcream cake, 2 layers of white chocolate mousse and 1 layer of strawberry mousse.

Did the Easter Bunny stop by your house? What was in your basket? At our house we all get Easter baskets and this year the Easter Bunny made stops at Simply Sweets for cupcakes, chocolate bunnies and chocolate dipped treats and San Francisco Chocolate Factory for fudge and caramel apples. Our baskets were also filled with favorites including jelly beans, Reese's peanut butter eggs (our family favorite), Whopper eggs, and Peeps (I love them!). My son's basket was also filled with DVDs, legos and a dinosaur egg. Our plastic eggs were filled with jelly beans, chocolate eggs, and tatoos (love the Target dollar bins).

Sweet Stuff - Special Easter Edition

For Easter I wanted to share my Easter Cake plate - the top of the plate has a pastel plaid pattern and is bordered with tulips (my favorite flower!) and the plate is held up by a cute little bunny. My favorite cake plates are those that have animal or characters as the stand part of the plate. I picked up this plate last year at my favorite place for cake plates, Home Goods.

Charity event for Autism Speaks - a cupcake tower

Today is World Autism Awareness Day so I thought this would be the perfect time to post a cupcake tower we created for a recent charity event. The Baseball Wives Charitable Foundation hosted a fundraising event, Athletes Against Autism, in Scottsdale to raise money for Autism Speaks. We created a cupcake tower with half the cupcakes topped with baseballs and half with a puzzle piece which is the symbol used for autism.
