This cupcake cake was inspired by the race track cupcake cake that we have done several times.
Since the pink and brown baby shower collage was such a hit, I decided to create a blue and brown baby shower collage. Blue and brown is currently most popular baby boy color combination followed by blue and yellow and blue and sage green.
A variation of our very popular baby shoes baby shower cakes - this one with baby blue icing and white and yellow stripes. Topped with sugar baby booties and white daisies. This baby shower was celebrating the soon to be arrival of a baby boy (who has since arrived) to the owners of Daniela Jay Boutique. The shower was held at their gorgeous boutique in Glendale.

This cake was created for a surf themd 7th birthday celebration. The cake colors were designed to coordinate with the blue, orange and yellow partyware. This cake is a half sheet cake with a sandy beach (a mixture of graham cracker crumbs and crystal sugar) and a huge wave with a surfer figurine. A little hard to see in this photo, but there is also a shark fin behind the surfer. The beach towel and flip flops on the beach are made from fondant. This cake was delivered to a residence in Paradise Valley.
This cake was created for a luau themed 6th birthday and designed to coordinate with the flip flop and polka dot decorations - everything was done in hot pink, orange, lime green and turquoise. This cake is a 14 round which serves at least 65. Cake is iced with buttercream, accents with fondant polka dots, graham cracker and crystal sugar sand topped with pink and orange fondant flip flops. This cake was delivered to a residence in Gilbert. This party was coordinated by Susan Crabtree, designer, Puerta Bella Interior Design. These mini cupcaks were ordered for a preschool PTA end of the year celebration with a luau theme. Half the cupcakes are topped with tropical flowers and the other half with white chocolate shells.
These cupcakes were created for a beach themed celebration for a coworkers bridal shower. Half the cupcakes are topped with tropical flowers in pink, purple and orange. The other half of the cucpakes are iced blue for the ocean, topper with sand (graham crackers and crystal sugar) and white chocolate flip flops.

I've been asked what is a smash cake? Its the cake that you give to a 1 year old on their birthday for them to dig into and enjoy - its a great photo opportunity.
Simply Sweets offers 3 options for smash cakes - a 1 shaped cake, a jumbo cupcake and a single layer 6 inch round. We decorate the smash cake to coordinate with cake or cupcakes.

These party favors were ordered for a train themed second birthday celebration. The ribbons were done in blue and red to coordinate with Thomas the Tank decorations. These are the same party favors I made for my son's second birthday to go with his train cake.

Dana, the cupcakes were a big hit !! I brought them to the restaurant where we were celebrating 2 birthdays. After we had finished eating them the waitress had brought over 2 restaurant cupcakes. They each took one bite and were very disappointed. Your cupcakes were very moist and chocolatey and the "other" cupcakes were dry and boring. Thanks again for the yummy treats!! Becky Z
