Nautical Birthday cake - 1st and 40th Birthdays

This cake was ordered for a nautical themed celebration for a son turning 1 and father turning 40. One side of the cake had a 1 and the boy's name on the life preserver and the other side had a 40 and Dada for the father. The cake was iced with blue tinted buttercream with fondant waves, sailboat and anchors. We also made coordinating cupcakes with sailboats and life preservers.
