60 Candles for a 60th Birthday Celebration - Blue and Silver Diamond Patterned Cake

We created this cake for a 60th birthday celebration. Usually our customers place the candles on their cake but when the number of candles is large, it must be incorporated into the design. This 10 inch cake was iced cornflower blue and decorated with a white diamond pattern and silver dragees. The cake was lemon poppy seed with lemon mousse filling. They also order dark chocolate dipped pretzels and oreos decorated with blue sprinkles. This cake was delivered to north Scottsdale

60 candles was the most we've done so far - previous to this we did a cake with 45 candles for a 45th birthday (the cake was a 14 inch round):
