1st Birthday Princess Tiara Cake
Princess theme - its so popular and always pink sometimes with some purple. This one was over the top with the tiara on a pillow, princess wand, boa and feathers. I think this is now my favorite tiara pattern especially because I can put the birthday girl's name on the front. The pillow is made from rice krispie treats covered in fondant.

red chocolate dipped fortune cookies
150 chocolate dipped fortune cookies for ordered by a theater group as gifts for their opening night. The fortune cookies were dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with red nonperils.
Coworker Birthday Celebration
This cupcake cake was ordered for a birthday celebration for 4 workers - their names were written on the company's logo (Alzheimer's Association).

Happy Father's Day!!
Simply Sweets would like to wish all the dads, grandpas, great grandpas and father-to-bes a very Happy Father's Day.
I think this Couch Potato cake is perfect for Father's Day. Please excuse the decorating technique - I did this cake many years ago when I just started taking cake decorating classes. Yes, its a real potato!
My 3 year old son and my husband both love cupcakes. So for this Father's Day I baked the cupcakes and let my son decorate them - good thing my husband loves icing!

Blue and Gray High School Graduation Cake
This cake was ordered by one of our repeat customers for her younger sister's high school graduation. The cake was done in blue and gray to match her school colors. The graduation hat is made from white chocolate. The banner on top reads "Class of 2009". Flip flops and horse shoes were added to reflect her love of the beach and horses - we love to add extra little custom touches to make the cake extra special!

Cupcakes for a Sunnyslope graduation topped with 2009 banners and white chocolate graduation hats and scrolls. The design was done in green and white to coordinate with the school colors.

Graduate School graduation cake
This cake was ordered by Brian's girlfriend for his graduation from Thunderbird School of Global Management. The schools colors are blue and yellow. The Beta Gamma Sigma key is made from fondant and painted with gold dust. The graduation hat is made from white chocolate. This cake had a special request for only 1 layer of filling instead of our standard 3 layers - most of our customer love that we torte and fill with 3 layers of filling but for those who prefer less filling we can do 1 layer.

Coral and Yellow Polka Dot Umbrella Baby Shower Cake
This cake is a repeat design of the brown and sage polka dot umbrella baby shower cake we did a few months ago. Again, for this shower the sex of the baby is unknown and they wanted the colors to coordinate with the party invitation. This cake was delivered to North Scottsdale for a coworker baby shower.

Pink Lingerie for a Bridal Shower
This bra and panties cake and corset chocolate favors were ordered for a lingerie themed bridal shower. The cake is a repeat design based on one that we did when we first opened in 2007. The white chocolate corset favors have become a very popular Simply Sweets item ordered for bridal shower and bacherlorette parties.

Purple Giraffe Themed Baby Shower Cake
This cake is almost an exact repeat design of the purple with pink, yellow and white polka dot giraffe baby shower cake we did a few months ago - sometimes our customers just fall in love with one of our designs and don't want us to change a thing. This customer also orders our popular "mommy and daddy" cupcakes for the mom-to-be to take home to share with her husband after the shower and a baby themed assortment of chocolate dipped oreo baby shower favors.
Welcome Baby Teton {baby shower cupcakes and chocolate favors}
The bear cupcakes along with an assortment of chocolate favors including chocolate dipped oreos with baby feet, chocolate dipped rice krispie treats, chocolate pacifier suckers and baby bottle pretzels were ordered for a baby shower for a baby boy. Everything was done in blue, white and yellow.
