Happy Thanksgiving to our customers, friends, family and blog readers! We hope everyone enjoyed their day filled with family and yummy food.
We spent the day with my husband's family and we brought some desserts to add to the Thanksgiving buffet. Chocolate dipped fall themed pretzels, carrot cake cupcakes topped with fall sprinkles and turkey chocolate suckers for the kids.
The carrot cupcakes with cream cheese icing were new for me and they were such a hit that we're thinking of adding them (as a cupcake only) to the menu when we open in our new location next year. These were made for my husband so they were pure carrot cake - after reviewing several carrot cake recipes many include add-ins such as raisins, pecans, pineapples and coconut (on the cream cheese icing).
