Here's another version of the offset circles and polka dots that we've done for many of our orders. This one is a little different with the bow with message on top of the cake instead of the front. This 9 inch cake is chocolate sourcream, white chocolate mousse filling, iced with American buttercream and fondant accents.

a very PINK 15th birthday celebration

Happy Birthday Mercedes!

The cake and cupcakes were ordered for a huge 15th birthday celebration. The cake is an 8 inch double chocolate sourcream with chocolate mousse filling and iced with american buttercream. The cupcakes (150 of them) were half double chocolate sourcream iced with white buttercream and half white almond sour cream iced with pink buttercream. Everything was decorated with 3 shades of pink.

We rent cupcake stands - the above stand can hold around 150 cupcakes or layers may be removed for a smaller number (the setup above has the top plate removed). We also rent smaller size cupcakes stands starting with stands that hold 13 cupcakes.

The cake and party favors were ordered for a black and white themed 21st birthday celebration. I have done this cake design for birthdays and baby showers but I think the black and white version is my favorite so far. The cake is white sourcream with cookies and cream filling (to go along with the black and white theme). The favors are white chocolate with the message "Get Crunk".

Purses are a very popular theme for cakes and chocolates. This time its for a 21st birthday celebration. This cake is chocolate sourcream, iced with chocolate buttercream with fondant accents.

Its PINK - purse and cupcakes

This sculpted purse cake and cupcakes were ordered for a going away party a mom was throwing for her daughter who is going off to FIDM (the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). The cake is white sourcream with strawberry mousse, iced in american buttercream and fondant, and fondant and gumpaste decoration. Cupcakes are white sourcream with american buttercream and a fondant flower. This cake was inspired by a similar cake that I have done in the past - this one is a brighter pink with a shorter strap.

Welcome Baby Cresswell

This package cake was ordered for a baby shower - its very similar to a cake that I have made previously for a birthday party. Everything is edible including the fondant bow and tag on top. The 9 inch square cake is white sourcream with rasberry mousse, american buttercream icing and fondant accents. This cake was ordered by Natalie who I met through Swanky Moms Across AZ - a networking group for moms who have started their own businesses. a tea party for Maggie

These sweets were ordered for a birthday tea party by one of our repeat customers (cupcake cake and Labor Day star). The cake was designed to match the partyware and invitations and is white sourcream, American buttercream icing, fondants accents and white chocolate handle and spout). The cupcakes are chocolate sourcream, American buttercream and topped with a fondant flower. Teapot suckers are white chocolate and milk chocolate.

Surprise Birthday Delivery

This princess castle cake was ordered by a soldier stationed in Iraq who wanted a cake delivered to his girlfriend here in Phoenix for her birthday - the message on the cake reads "To my Queen, Happy Birthday". This castle cake is the same design as the one done for Princess Erica.

Happy Labor Day

This cake was ordered for a "meet the neighbors" Labor Day pool party. The star shaped cake is a 2 layer cake (chocolate sour cream), torted with 3 layers of filling (chocolate mousse), and iced in buttercream. This cake would also work well for a Memorial Day or 4th of July celebration and would go great with these favors.

Princess Emma Tiara Cake

This cake was made for a sweet little girl who is turning 4 and is celebrating her birthday with a princess-themed party. When I delivered the cake the party room was all decorated in one color - PINK! lots of balloons and streamers everywhere.

The cake is white sour cream, vanilla mousse filling, iced with American buttercream and decorated with fondant. The tiara is made from royal icing and hand painted with silver, pink, and pearl dust.

Welcome Baby London

These Simply Sweets creations were ordered by a very sweet grandma-to-be who was planning a baby shower for her daughter. The shower was held at the Rock Bottom Brewery.

The party favors are hand-dipped dark and white chocolate oreos decorated with white chocolate (tinted pink) baby items - booties, carriage, rattle, teddy bear, baby bottle.

The cake is chocolate sour cream, raspberry mousse filling, iced with American butter cream and decorated with fondant and chocolate. The 3D baby blocks are made from white chocolate. The rattle and bow fondant. The message, "Mandy's Baby Shower, Welcome Baby London" is an edible image placed on a fondant plaque.
