Festive Purple and Gold Cake, Mini Cupcakes and Chocolates

We created these deserts for a Christmas in July party styled by Sugar Plum Designs. The 6 inch cakes and mini cupcakes were iced purple and then airbrushed with purple and gold to create the color to coordinate with the ornaments used in the decor. The cake is decorated with a scroll pattern accented with gold dragees and topped with a gold bow. The mini cupcakes were decorated with more gold dragees. We dipped oreos in dark chocolate, sprinkled with mini gold dragees and dusted with a gold pearl dust for the perfect sheen.

Turquoise Birthday Cake for a Small Family Celebration

Our customer ordered this cake for his wife's birthday - the family is from California and were coming to Scottsdale to visit with relatives for the wife's birthday. This cake was inspired by the 2 tier butterflies and flowers cakes that we've made but this one was done in turquoise (her favorite color) and as a 7 inch round perfect for a small family celebration.

Pink, white and black cupcakes for a 2nd birthday Minnie Mouse Celebration

We created these cupcakes for the gift certificate raffle winner from the recent Scottsdale Moms Blog and Everyday Childhood Moms Night Out. They were having a Minnie Mouse themed party. We baked the cupcakes in pink and white polka dot cupcakes liners, iced pink and topped with pink, white and black cupcake toppers dusted with a pearl sheen.
