3rd Birthday Monster Truck Themed Cupcake Cake {Children's Birthday Cakes}

3rd birthday monster truck cupcake cake

We created this cupcake cake for a 3rd birthday monster truck themed party. This 3 year old loves dirt (don't all boys?) so they decided on the monster truck theme and we created a track made from 'dirt' (crushed oreo cookies) in the shape of a 3. The track has 2 mounds where the paretnts placed truck toys on the cake. We made checked banner to the birthday boy's name and bordered the yellow iced cake in black and white.

Our customer also orders some of our checkered flag balloons along with some yellow and black ones to complete the look.

Cupcakes cakes are a popular option for kid's parties:

  • easy to serve

  • can be done in any size

  • easy to portion out

  • can combine several flavors into one 'cake'

This cake was inspired by the construction and race car cupcakes cakes that we've done:

We created this 10th birthday cake for a carnival themed party. The yellow and red cake is topped with popcorn, carnival sucker, teddy bear and tickets. The sides of the cake is decorated with a crystal ball, balloons, cotton candy, corn dogs and fun house mirrors. This is a 8 inch cake, perfect size for a smaller celebration. Our customer also purchased some of our carnival suckers for the goody bags.

Gift Package Cake for a Twins Baby Shower {Baby Shower Cakes}

package baby shower cake for twins

We've been doing a lot of cakes for twins lately! This is our popular package cake design iced with chocolate buttercream (yum!) accented with pink, blue, yellow and green polka dots. The cake is topped with a fondant green bow. Our customers love our bows - each bow loop is individually cut out of fondant and shaped into a loop. Once the loops have dried we form them into a large multiloop bow. Our customers love that even the bow can be eaten.

Here's a few in progress photos of the bow
