2010 Baseball Wives Association Fundraiser for the Autism Community
Simply Sweets participated again this year in the Baseball Wives Association's Annual Event Raising Money for the Autism Community. This year's event was a kick off to spring training with a casino night themed event held at a residence in Paradise Valley.
We created a cupcake tower topped with baseballs and hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs displayed on our 5 tier silver cupcake tower. Cupcakes were double chocolate sourcream and white sourcream topped with American buttercream and fondant accents.
We also created 200 chocolate dipped pretzel favors dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with poker confetti in cellophanes bags with Baseball Wives Association logo tags tied with black bows for the swag bags.
You may remember last year's event where we created a cupcake tower with cupcakes topped with baseballs and the autism puzzle piece

Pink Lingerie Bridal Shower Cake and Chocolates
Our pink lingerie cake and chocolates are very popular for bridal showers - we delivered these to a group celebrating at the Scottsdale W hotel's spa for a girls weekend.
Monkey Cupcake Cake for a Curious George Themed 4th Birthday
We created this monkey cupcake cake for Justin's 4th Birthday Curious George Birthday party. I love using bright yellow, blue and red for children's birthdays.
customer feedback
The cupcake cake was a HUGE hit!! ...but it seriously looked amazing. Thank you SO MUCH!! As always, you exceeded my expectations! A.B.
We also created Justin's 3rd birthday cupcake cake - a dinosaur and race car themed design.

Princess Tiara 4th Birthday Cupcake Tower
We created this cupcake tower for Ava's 4th birthday party. We've been doing Ava's birthday cakes since her second birthday - this year she's all about princess and pink and purple! This cupcake tower was inspired by our Princess Tiara Diamond patterned Birthday Cake. We created a 6 inch topper cake topped with a tiara and 30 cupcakes topped with pink and purple tiaras.

Simply Sweets is moving to Scottsdale
We're excited to announce that Simply Sweets is moving to Scottsdale in the Ranch Center retail center (90th Street and Via Linda).
new address:
9393 N. 90th Street, Suite #115
Scottsdale, AZ 85258
We will join other Ranch Center businesses including Hiro Sushi, Native New Yorker and Ajo Als. Ranch Center is located on the northeast corner of 90th Street and Via Linda, across the street from Fry's Marketplace and down the street from Scottsdale Hospital on Shea.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our great customers and fans for supporting us. Since 2007 we have run our business from a commerical kitchen in Sunnyslope but our business has grown so much that its time to expand to a retail location of our own. We will be increasing our staff to handle a larger volume of orders and adding a retail section to the shop where we plan to offer balloons, party supplies, gourmet chocolates, cupcake and cookie baking supplies, gifts and additional custom party planning services.
The sign isn't on the building yet (that's just photoshop for now) but as construction progresses we'll post photo updates on Facebook.
While we are remodeling we will not be taking any additional orders besides those that are already booked. We hope to open in our new location mid-April. Pink and Black Sugar Cookies, Cupcakes and Chocolates
Here's some photos of the sweets we created for the Phoenix Magazine photo shoot. Everything was done in pink and black with daisies and monograms. The sugar cookies are iced with fondant embossed with a polka dot pattern and dusted with a pearl dust - so elegant and chic!
