everything is better dipped in CHOCOLATE

A chocoholic myself, I do believe everything is better dipped in chocolate. Working on developing my menu, I decided to try graham crackers. Yum, yum, yum - these may be my new favorite. Besides the taste, the larger size (compared to an Oreo) opens up a lot more decorating options.

I recently got this fun mold of silly frogs in a bunch of different poses so I decided to try out the mold - this would be a fun favor for a garden party, baby shower (frog themed nursery) or for someone who collects all things frogs:

What to make for a St Patty's Day themed Bunco girls night out? Chocolate dipped oreos with green dice, of course! Dark chocolate and white chocolate dipped oreos with white chocolate and green tinted white chocolate dice.

Moms Night Out

We had a potluck MOMS club Moms Night Out event so I decided to try out a new recipe - cream cheese filled chocolate cupcakes with chocolate glaze icing. Rich chocolate cake with a hint of coffee and a center filled with chocolate chips and cream cheese filling - Yum! they were a huge hit. These will added as a premium selection to my cupcake menu.

So here's where I need your help - help me name this cupcake flavor:

PTSA quarter auction

Another quarter auction, this time with money going towards the Stetson Hills Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSA). I donated 2 items 1) a St. Patrick's Day basket of chocolate dipped goodies, chocolate shamrock suckers and a bag of St Patricks Day dark chocolate bark and 2) a pot of spring decorated chocolate dipped oreos (flowers, butterflies, ladybugs).

Lisa is a member of my MOMs club and she's expecting TWINS in April. Lorraine hosted a surprise shower for her this past weekend and I made the cake - chocolate buttermilk, white chocolate mousse filling, buttercream icing, hand-molded baby booties and a fondant bow.
